Happy Birthday Bella!

Welcome back! I've spent the past four days on a stage, something I am no stranger to. Looking back it I've realized I've been on some sort of stage pretty much my whole life starting at the meager age of three. Dancing first and then music starting when I was eight, first piano followed my flute a couple years later. I'm comfortable on the stage, it's almost a thrill at times. The lights, cameras, and of course the music. I've played many different types of music in my lifetime (all 22 years of it), but the song that sings to my heart more than any other song really isn't a song at all. It's the sweet little purr of my adorable kitten.

Today is Bella's first birthday! It's hard to believe she is already a year old. It feels like just yesterday we brought a tiny little kitten home. She weighed less than a pound then, now she is up to 9.2 pounds. Still small for a main coon, but she's the runt of her litter and I love it that way. She has developed quite a personality the past year. She is unlike any cat I've ever seen. Oh sure she loves her little pink mouse, which she lost but got a new one for her birthday, but her other favorite toy at the moment, besides her bag and tunnel, is a dog toy. Yep she likes to chase a cow that moos. It's hilarious! She has no interest in cat nip or people food, not even tuna or shrimp! I don't mind that either, it will be easier to keep her thin unlike her big sister Tiger.

This little ball of fur has brought so much joy to my life. She is all the time doing something crazy that makes you laugh. She loves attention, especially at 5:30 in the morning. She has also grown very fond of Christmas. At any given time you can usually find Bella in one of three places, under a bed, in her bed, or under the Christmas tree. She has tried to climb the tree, she loves to chew on the ting tings, and of course the presents! (Much to her grandma's dismay.) We found a bag without any tissue paper in it one morning, two guesses who that was! I guess she is just practicing up for Christmas morning. We put up a stocking for all the babies yesterday and they are already full of goodies.

I just can't believe I've had her for a year, in five and a half weeks that is. Time just flies... I am very excited for Bella's first Christmas, well her first REAL Christmas. I will try to do better on keeping my blog updated too since I've been doing such a horrible job of it recently. I will leave you with some pictures of the most adorable kitten this side of heaven. Enjoy!

With all her siblings (She is far right)

First day at her new home!
