Well, yesterday was our first meet! After being about 2 hours late on getting started because a decathlete decided to jump FOREVER, we got to jump. It was an interesting meet to say the least, but today I'm going to keep it short and sweet. I cleared a disappointing 9'8, but I cleared a bar so I might as well be thankful for that alone. Then I jumped on my 12' 110 for the first time ever and didn't kill myself. So I would say it wasn't a day completely wasted, in fact if I really wanted to get honest with myself it was pretty good, even if I did only jump 9'8.
