I have now finished the last two books in the Twilight saga. I think that the second and third books (New Moon and Eclipse) were the best two books of the series. Eclipse picked right up where New Moon left us and then it took off running at the speed of light. New developments, secrets, romance, and twists that kept you hooked.
Breaking Dawn started out as good as any of the others did and was leading into a pretty good story line. However, I felt like the book really should have ended half way through. The second half of the 750 page book was more or less just to tie up loose ends and it really didn't feel like it was going much of anywhere. I think the second half could have been a new book in a new series staring a completely different main character or perhaps it will lead into a new series. I can definitely see how she left some options open for future books that wouldn't be specifically about Bella or Edward. Always good to keep your options open I guess. I am pleased with the way the series ended, only it could have ended 300 pages earlier.
I'm not sure what I will get my hands on to read for my next book review, but I will be sure to keep you posted.
My Bella hasn't been quite right the past few days and it has me worried. We think she has over done it a little and strained some muscles or something. She is eating fine, but she hasn't been the spastic little maniac we love and adore. She hasn't attacked Tiger in three days, hasn't played, hasn't jumped and run up her favorite chair, and hasn't run anywhere. (Her normal form of travel) All she has done is sleep, hide, eat, and be skittish. We think it is her back legs. She tried to jump on the bed this morning and she couldn't make it. So we are hoping it's just a strained muscle and that she will be back to normal soon, if not I guess it is another vet visit for us.
