My past few posts have been... whats the word I'm looking for? Sadly, I can't even find the word for it. So I'm gonna cheer myself up by writing about my favorite topic. You guessed it, Bella!!
My little girl was nine months old yesterday, and last I checked a few weeks ago she was seven pounds. She stands as tall as Tiger already, but Tiges is a much smaller built cat except around the middle. I love the fact that she has become such a mama's girl. She loves me! Bella has to know where I am and will follow me from room to room. If I'm somewhere and I'm staying there for a while she will leave and go do her thing, but for the most part she is within a two room radius. Bella loves here "daddy" too, but she was not very happy that he was home and keeping her mommy away from her all weekend. James kept me out almost all day and night all weekend which was fabulous, but it left very little time for Bella. She wasn't happy about that. She is used to being the center of my world all day almost every day. I guess "daddy" is going to have to learn his place when he gets home next year.
She is still a crazy little thing, climbing the shower curtain and all. I found it odd that last week she decided not to play with any of her toys except the furry pickle that auntie Mel and uncle Joey got her. I got bored with it, but she sure hasn't. The streamers and the laser couldn't keep her attention, but boy that pickle could. We lost it for the past couple days and in my desperate search for her favorite toy, I found every other toy that she had including her all time favorite pink mouse. Yes I found her baby! She carries that little mouse everywhere with her. Sadly enough, we lost that somewhere yesterday and today I found the pickle. I'm sure the mouse will turn up under something soon just like it always does.
Tonight dad brought Kodi a bone home from the store. Bella being the curious little thing she is was interested in it and was smelling it. Now just to be clear, this is a real bone not a rawhide or dog biscuit. As you could probably guess Kodi didn't want her taking his bone, so what does he do? He stands on the other side of the bone staring and growling at her. Yes he growled at her! The big 109 pound dog was growling at the 7 pound cat. Doesn't he realize he could just take the silly bone that weighed more than she did anyways? Apparently not. He had to warn her that it was his bone, so he growled. Bella didn't really move much, just backed up about an inch before I made Kodi take the bone away. My girl is such a brave, pretty little kitty!
