My Little Girl

Is 10 months old today!! I can't believe it has been that long already, it seems like just yesterday we brought her home (she was 5.5 weeks old) and she was such a little ball of fur! She fit perfectly in your hand she was so tiny, she was the runt of the litter, but she is definitely not the runt in personalities! Bella is so funny, she is going through phases with her toys. One day it will be her favorite and the next she wants nothing to do with it. Her current favorite toys are really cheap, a paper bag that we have to continuously replenish because she destroys them and a string of yarn. Of course that's how it works, you spend money on the nice toys and all she wants is what you bring home with your stuff in it.

However, I found her all time favorite toy today, who would have thought to look in her toy basket? Apparently mommy didn't, but you should have seen her eyes light up and heard the happy little chirp she did at the sight of her little pink mouse. She likes to chase it and carry it around. I need to get a picture of her with it in her mouth, it's so cute! I had to just make her take a break though because she was panting from chasing it. I have to say I'm impressed with her though, she is somewhat learning fetch. I have been trying to teach her and though it was impossible because if I tried it with treats she was more interested in the treat than the mouse and if I tied a string onto it and pulled it back she was more interested in the string. Funny how that works, huh? Well today she actually brought it back a couple times, not specifically to me but always to the same spot. It only happened when I threw it down the hall and she would run with it back to the living room where her paper bag was. She brought it halfway back a couple times when I threw it into the kitchen, so this is progress! Maybe I can teach her after all! It's definitely not because she is lacking intelligence, sometimes I think she is too smart for her own good, maybe a little ADD but still smart.

(This is where I should put a picture, but this computer doesn't have any of my pictures on it. So Sorry for another picture-less blog. Maybe one day I will get wireless again and be able to use my computer. I guess all you really need to know is she is beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! She really is, even from an unbiased opinion.)
