Rainy Monday Morning

Good morning bloggies! I love waking up to rainy days, well only when I know I get to stay inside all day and be a bum! Apparently Bella does too, she is being a sleepy kitty by the window. She is so cute! Apparently she ate a piece of yarn the other day, still no sign of that, but it hasn't seemed to phase her at all. If possible, she has been even crazier, especially in the mornings.

I found a few more jobs to apply for today. I went a completely different direction when looking and I feel like this might be somewhere I should definitely look into. I've decided maybe the corporate world isn't the only thing I can do. So today I started looking at museums. They need people in marketing and business too!

I really have forgotten how much I love history. I had a teacher once say that history is so important because how do you know where to go if you don't go where you've been. I never knew some of these places were in Charlotte either. Well, I didn't find anything in the museum area job wise, at least not yet. However I found The Charlotte Museum of History! (www.charlottemuseum.org) I had no idea we had that, but it is somewhere I definitely want to visit one day. Not only that but the Latta Plantation! (www.lattaplantation.org) I knew we had some plantations around, but I never really knew where they were. The old south, colonial and civil war time periods were always my favorites. I loved vacations we took when I was younger that were to places that were old and had a story. It always fascinated me.

Who knew Charlotte had so much history to offer? I sure didn't. I hope you have a lovely rainy day. You can be sure of one thing, I'm going to be watching Friends, knitting, and playing with Bella! (That last one never gets old)
