Baby Bella gets to come home tonight! We can go pick her up between 4:30 and 5:00. Sadly, I have to work so mom is going to get her. I wanted to go pick up my baby... But oh well! They still aren't sure just what happened. The vet said it could have been a bug or she ate something that didn't agree with her stomach. In either case, she threw up and got so dehydrated that she got plugged up and it made her one sick little girl. They've cleaned her out and hydrated her. Now she is one anxious kitty to get home! She is hissing and growling at anyone who comes near her cage and trying to chew off her IV. They said she looks much better today and is moving around her cage a lot. She isn't eating just yet, but the vet seems pretty confident it's just because she isn't in her comfortable surroundings. (I think it's probably because it is the wrong flavored food... We all know she only likes turkey.) So tonight she is coming home! They are going to send her with a couple different medications. The main concern was to hydrate and empty her out. That was accomplished and now lets hope it doesn't happen again!
