The vet hospitalized my baby girl! I'm one very upset and emotional mama right now. They did xrays on her and saw that she was pretty stopped up and she was severely dehydrated. She they wanted to hook her up to an IV to get some fluids in her and run some blood work. There are several things that they are thinking right now. First, she ate something that didn't agree with her. That is what we hope it is. Second, she swallowed something that plugged her up. This would not be horrible, but it would require surgery to find out if she has a string in there and to get it out. The worst case scenario is her kidneys. I don't even want to talk about that one. Kidney failure took my first love and I would hate to think she has an early form of it. More than likely not. The vet is leaning towards the first two and I'm praying that it's the first and nothing super serious. My poor baby girl is spending the night all alone in the hospital! I don't like it... Not one bit!
