Home Sweet Home

Bella is home and loving it! Well, maybe not so much having to take the medicine the doc sent her home with, but definitely liking not having to be stuck in a cage with IVs in her poor little legs. (She doesn't want me posting pictures of her two little shaved legs. Grandma said she looked like a Poodle and shes a little embarrassed by it...) Otherwise she seems to do doing well. She ate some dry food last night, it didn't agree with her and came back up. So today she has eaten a little dry and mostly the can food. She is mainly drinking the juice but she is eating some of the meat too. So it's a start. My guess is she still has a weak stomach so it's going to take a few days to get back to a normal eating habit. She isn't 100% of course, not yet. She is wanting to be outside and of course since today is all about spoiling the baby, she is getting what she wants. I'm keeping a close watch on her though. Not letting her eat any grass or anything. (The last thing we need is for her to throw up what she has eaten, as small as it may be.) Now the next step is to make sure she is using the litter box. Easier said then done when you have two cats, but so far she hasn't even gone near the box. Now she is chasing lizards, stalking bugs, and watching the birds. Some of her normal activities. That must mean she is feeling a little better. :)
