Restless Sleeper

I had a horrible time sleeping last night. Wake up, turn over, sleep, wake up, thirsty, get water, sleep, wake up, turn over, sleep. It was a vicious cycle. When I got up to get water of course the cats thought two totally different things. Bella "OOOO LET'S PLAY! PLEASE PLEASE! I will follow you until you play with me!" Tiger "Oh yay! Feed me! I'm starving." Neither of the girls got what they wanted, at least not for a few hours.

Bella is feeling much better. She is running and playing almost like normal. She has been sick a while so it is going to take a few days to get her endurance and stamina back up, but I am so happy she is feeling better. Of course the first day she wants to play she slices my finger, but it is completely worth it when she jumps on the bed in the morning purring. I absolutely adore that cat.

A minor miracle has happened since we got Bella. Tiger, who is vastly overweight, has started eating can food! Some miracle, right? Well actually it is. The vet told me last time we were there that she needed to lose weight and increase her liquid intake. I didn't know that canned food has less calories, but it does. So we tried switching her and of course she didn't like it. Then Bella comes along and loves it! Like all children, they want what the other one has and Tiger has been eating nothing but can food this week. It is quite an accomplishment and hopefully she will drop some weight. She would feel so much better if she did.
