A Break From Ordinary

Good morning! It has been a cold week! I'm not very fond of cold myself and I wish fall lasted longer. We only have it for like a month and then about 4 months of coldness. But oh well...

Yesterday was so much fun! I met my friend Christina in the morning to work on a project before we went to class. However, after our first class when we would normally go to Global and then Psychology after... We skipped! Food was so much more important. So Christina and I along with our friend Krista went up to Northlake to eat at Panera. Oh it was so good! I got broccoli and cheddar soup in a bread bowl. AMAZING!

Next we went to David's Bridal to pick up Krista's wedding dress that wasn't supposed to come in until March. She was gorgeous in it! It was such a pretty dress. Looking around at all the dresses I don't know how anyone ever decides on just one. There are so many pretty ones.

Anyways after we played around in there for a while Christina and I went to Peak to work out. Having someone to work out with was fun. She wanted to do everything I did. I am pretty sure she is sore today, but she was so into and kept asking "What next?" I didn't think she was ever going to stop. I think she is someone I will be working out with once I'm not working out with the team anymore. She was pushing me just as much as I was pushing her.

It was a good Tuesday. A break from the ordinary and a day with the girls. You need that every once in a while or you might go crazy with the repetitiveness of everyday life. Today Christina and Nick are closing on their new house! They are going to be living in Lake Park. Which is like right around the corner so I'm sure we will be seeing them quite a bit in the months to come.
