Weekend Doesn't = Rest

Hello friends! Well this weekend was a pretty good weekend. Friday was the Christmas show with my mama and we had a blast! Of course we always do. I love my mama! I can honestly say she is my best friend and the sweetest, nicest, and most accepting women I have ever met. Well after my Grandma Marshall of course, but she had to learn it from someone.

Saturday started out really rough. I woke up sick and slept off and on until almost 12:00 when my mama made me get up and eat and shower, which helped a lot. So then she put me to work getting the house ready for the party! The Charles life group is a great group of people and I would say more than half of them came to our house for a nice dinner that night. We have never had to entertain and serve 28 people in this house before. It was quite a crowd! It was fun though and wow the food! It was like pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

So that brings us to Sunday. Today was a normal Sunday. Waking up super early, go to church, breakfast with the orchestra, life group, service, lunch, rehearsal, and church again. My Sundays are always full, but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. Preacher Mike did a really good service today and the life group was really interesting too. I probably needed to hear most of it and you probably will be hearing related topics in the week to come. Once things get in my head they kinda roll around in there until I somehow figure them out, or attempt to figure them out, and the only way to stop thinking about them so much is to put it in a blog.

I have really enjoyed this blogging thing. I love putting all my thoughts in a "journal" kind of thing and if people choose to they can read it. This is good for me, a kind of therapy I guess. Its a relief getting these thoughts and emotions out. So be looking for more blogs to be coming! If you choose to read them that is. This is mostly for me and if someone finds a little enlightenment, encouragement, or humor along the way, well then I guess it is a job well done! Have a great night!
