First I must say I am very upset with the Carolina Panthers. I was all excited they were doing great! Then Jake decided to throw the game away... On his birthday too. I guess this is going to make the play offs a little more interesting since Tennessee lost today too. Tomorrow should be interesting to see how the Giants do since they are pretty much the last top team left in the playoffs.
Second, I have fallen to peer pressure... it's true and now I have a new found hobby. KNITTING! Much to my surprise I have found it to be quite fun, once I figured out how to start it. I have successfully managed to start it, which took a while to figure out, and I learned how to do one kind of stich. I went and bought some yarn today, needles, and a book that is supposed to teach you to knit and has some projects in it too. I took it to work knowing it was going to be slow because of the Panther game and boy was I right! No one came in after 7:30 so I got a lot of time to play around with it. This is what I have completed so far.
I think I am going to take it apart, I did that about 20 times at work today too, because somehow I went from 15 loops to 23 and it looks pretty funny. Tomorrow I am headed to the Master Knitter's house for a lesson! I am pretty excited, maybe she can help me figure this thing out.
Lastly, I am so excited! I got a new study Bible today! I haven't ever had a study Bible and this one is the Apologetics Study Bible, which is supposed to help Christians understand and defend their faith. Basically what I have gotten from reading up on it is that it takes big questions that a lot of people have and it gives a Biblical answer. Many of the people that helped put this together were at one time atheists that were trying to prove the Bible wrong, but in turn became Christians, such as C. S. Lewis. Now obviously he didn't help put this study Bible together, but he was one of the great Christians who was into apologetics.
I'm rambling now so I am going to end this blog by saying have a great Sunday tomorrow and week! Its back to school for me so I'm not sure when I will be posting next, but I am going to try to keep you updated on my new knitting hobby, things I discover in my new study Bible, and of course school and track since they are starting back.
"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." C.S. Lewis

Man!! I totally didn't realize that you were that far along:). I'm so excited! We shall have fun knitting tonight and will discuss:
1. How to keep from increasing stitches
2. How to purl
Once you know how to knit and purl, there's no stopping you:)
And the quote was fabulous. Very very true.
