VTech

It is COLD outside! My computer says it is 18 degrees, of course I need to get used to that idea real quick because here in about 2 hours I'm headed to Blacksburg, Virginia where that is the HIGH for today. That is not fun in any way, shape, or form in my book. On cold days like this I want to cuddle up with a warm bowl of chili or soup in front of the fire, but instead I am going to be at Virginia Tech for a track meet. Don't worry it is inside, but how warm can any building get when it's 18 outside?

I'm a little nervous for the meet today. I haven't practice at all over break so needless to say my workouts this week were HARD! I have only jumped one day and that wasn't a good day. I had the option to jump yesterday, but with it being so cold outside I don't think I could have gotten anything accomplished. So today at 5:00 we are going to see how this whole jumping thing goes, it should be interesting. Tech has never had an opening below 10 feet, until this year amazingly enough. Opening is 9'6 and there is only 13 girls in our section. (There are two sections.)

So that is my update for you guys today. Nothing too exciting I know. When I have time I will do a post meet update. :)
