Starting Applications

So I just applied for my first post graduation job! It is kind of exciting. What do you ask? Well I applied at the Family Dollar corporate office for their marketing department. It is located in Matthews right around the corner from the Hallmark store I work at now. So it is about 10 minutes away from home. It would be really great if that worked out, but I am very aware of the fact that the job market it very hard right now. So I am trying to stay positive while not getting my hopes up too much. There are more job openings in the corporate office that I might apply for too.

I have also decided to apply at corporate Belk's and try to get into their marketing department. I know that is a very competitive company to start out in too, but I guess I will be watching the ninerjob.net and careerbuilder.com for the next few months and filling out all kinds of applications. I had to rewrite my cover letter tonight, but I'm not sure if it is any good. I had my resume reviewed by one of the advisers in the athletic academic counseling center and it went into a book of the graduating 49ers in the athletic department.

That is my update and now the search has officially begun. Be praying I find a job!
