Welcome twenty ten! Hard to believe it's already 2010. It feels like just yesterday was the big millennium, but here we are in a new year. I have to say 2009 had some ups and downs. Overall it was a pretty good year. Let's recap some of the big events this year.
Last January we had a new member join the Garzoni clan. Little Bella has filled my heart with so much joy over the past year. I like to give all the credit to God on that one. He sure knew what He was doing when he brought her into my life. She has blessed me so much and to be honest, I needed her more than I knew.
In March my 98 year old Granny finished her long journey and went home to be with her beloved Calvin and my sweet Grandma, Betty.
May was a pretty big month around here. In the beginning of the month I graduated college! That was a MAJOR accomplishment that I thought would never get here, but of course it did. We all know that leads into the finding a job, which is pretty hard to do in a recession. Still working on that one.
May 31st we added another member to the family with Jimmy and Amber's wedding. They couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for their wedding.
July was a month of trying to do way too much in too short a time. We did manage to get a nice camping trip in with our BFFs, Joey and Melanie. We went up to the Brevard area. Hiking, hanging out, and trying to keep up with Kodi. Put all that together and you are destined to have a good time.
In August we had Dad's 50Th birthday party and all the family from up Ohio came for a few days. We had a going away party for James the day after. We took a road trip to Indiana with Joey and Melanie to take James to report for duty. Such a sad trip that was. Saying goodbye for a year is a very hard thing to do.

November was a family plus David and Joyce trip to Jekyll Island, Georgia. Such beautiful weather awaited us. The dogs loved the beach and we loved riding bikes around the island. I highly recommend a trip there if you've never been.
December of course was the holiday season. It was also Bella's first birthday and first real Christmas. She loved the Christmas tree, ornaments, and ting tings. We are still finding ting tings around the house even though the Christmas tree is long gone. She loves her remote control mouse that she got for Christmas, but it doesn't hold a charge long enough for her.
Now we are facing a new year. Such great things are in store for us this year. James coming home from Iraq, getting a 'real' job, and of course Bella are just a few things I'm already excited about.
