Talking to the Cardinals

It's a pretty day out today. A little humid from the rain yesterday, but the sun is out and the birds are singing. Which of course meant Bella had to go explore. She hasn't gotten off the walkway though. Just sitting and enjoying her little outing, that will be cut short here in a little bit when I have to go to work. Oh yes, the big mother's day rush. (Don't forget to get your mom a card!)

Well, yesterday Bella hurt her back leg. Someone came to the door and Kodi barked. She always runs when he barks. Wouldn't you? He is 100 pounds bigger than she is and I wouldn't want to be around if he got riled up if I was her either. (She's been stepped on one too many times I think.) When she made her appearance after a few minute, she was limping! I'm not sure what she did, Kodi wasn't even in the same room as her so he didn't step on her. I was thinking she just twisted it. She wouldn't even put pressure on it for a while and had some trouble jumping up to get her food, she eats on the dryer. But that little hurt leg didn't stop her! She looked so funny running down the hall limping. Poor little thing. Today she seems better though, which I am very happy about.

So who knew finding a venue would be so hard? I figured I would look some up, get some prices, and have a hard time narrowing it down. Nope. Oh I'm finding ones I like alright, but WOW they are proud of themselves. So the hard part isn't narrowing it down, it's finding one that I like that fits into our budget. I found one I liked, way too expensive. WAY WAY WAY! Then I found a little chapel I thought was adorable, but it's too small. One I thought I liked, until they sent me more pictures and their prices, which seemed good to start with until you add all their fees up. Maybe it's a good thing I have 18 months, it might take that long to find a place to have it! (Not really.)
