I was walking to church today from my car. Two little boys were walking my direction. I was admiring how different these two boys were. One in jeans and a t-shirt while the other was in navy pants and a nice tucked in polo. It caught me by surprise that the polo boy was carrying a hot drink. I can only assume it was coffee, but that was what the amusing conversation was about. He was wearing sandals where his toes were exposed. "I bet it would really hurt if I dropped this on my toes. It would scald them." He said and his friend's response was "I hope you do." I didn't see the expression either gave, but in the end the friend warned "Don't try it." A funny conversation that made me laugh, but did nothing to ease my nerves about one day having one. Little boys make me nervous. My child would have been the one that dropped hot coffee on his toes that left 3rd degree burns.
Little girls though. I think they would be fun. At least my little girl is! Even when grandma wakes me up screaming "BELLA BELLA BELLA!... SHANNON!" Oh what now? Thinking the worst I jump out of bed running. I encounter the little darling in the hall and what is that she has? A baby mole! A dead baby mole. Her grandma thought it was a mouse that she was taking in the house to let lose, not like that hasn't happened with the other cat. Nope, just a little present for mommy. I thanked her and let her grandma take it back outside to get rid of it. What a way to start our Sunday morning, huh?

Princess our new adopted cat likes to catch moles and leave them around for us to find. Good picture!
